Avila Pops By The Sea – Celebrating The Central Coast

Thank you for joining us at Pops-by-the-Sea 2023!

The San Luis Obispo Symphony announces the return of Pops-by-the-Sea on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at the Avila Beach Golf Resort! Gates will open at 2:45 PM and music will begin at 4:00PM! Tickets are available at my805tix.com.

The first half of this season opening Pops concert is dedicated to popular and patriotic works by Dudley Buck, John Williams, Leroy Anderson, Michael W Smith, John Philip Sousa, and more.

The second half welcomes local singer and songwriter, Damon Castillo and his band. The emcee’s for this event will be the entire KSBY Daybreak team, Genelle Padilla, Vivian Rennie, and Neil Hebert! Bring the whole family to laze in the summer sun and celebrate the Central Coast at the Avila Beach Golf Resort.

Parking is free and a parking pass will be attached to your printable ticket or you can get a pass while parking! No outside drinks are permitted and ice chests will be inspected upon entry.

Limited table seating is available for $80 each seat at tables of 10. 
Lawn seating is $25 for adults and $15 for minors ages 13 to 17.
Children under 13 are free with a paying adult, so bring along the entire family! 

Food At Pops
There are so many different ways to enjoy a picnic at Pops this year! Bring your own picnic spread, or enjoy one of our on site vendors :  Brooks Burgers premium burgers and G Brothers kettle corn. If you pre-ordered a deli lunch from SLO Provisions it will be available for pick up at the event.  As a reminder no outside drinks are permitted and ice chests will be inspected upon entry. Bring a reusable water bottle!

Three raffle prizes are being awarded this year by random drawing at Pops By the Sea. Prizes include stays at Hotel SLOSeaCrest Hotel, and Kaleidoscope Inn, and gift cards for dinner at Cafe RomaBrooks Burgers, and Madonna Inn.
