Enjoy an evening of Arab hospitality, delicious Levantine cuisine, friendship and laughter. Kentucky Derby Day - A Day at the Races

Piano Concert with Rei Hotoda

Finish the Symphony season with an extraordinary musical treat. Accomplished pianist and conductor finalist Rei Hotoda will perform a solo piano recital at a private home for a few select guests. Repertoire for the concert will be Gershwin's Three Preludes, Albeniz's Evocation and El Puerto from Iberia Book I, Debussy's L'Isle Joyeuse and Copland's Hoe Down from Rodeo. Not only is Ms. Hotoda a gifted pianist, but she is also the conductor who will lead the orchestra in the season’s final concert on May 6. Join Symphony friends for light refreshments and wine as you savor both epicurean and musical pleasures. This soiree promises to be the perfect venue for engaging this artist and celebrating the end of a successful season.

A Cuban Pig Roast

You don’t have to go to Cuba; we’ve brought Cuba to you. Join the festivities and show as master pig roaster Michael Framberger roasts a whole pig in his Cuban roasting box. If you have not experienced this one-of-a-kind dinner, you are in for a treat. It’s crisp and slightly charred on the outside, fall-apart tender on the inside. Your unique meal will be accompanied by sauces and sides, adult beverages, and lip-smacking desserts; all served in the historic and recently refurbished parish hall of the Mission.
