Welcome to the San Luis Obispo Youth Symphony
This year marks the Anniversary of the 50th Anniversary of the San Luis Obispo Youth Symphony. Founded in 1965 by Dr. Wachtang "Botso" Korisheli and staffed by conductors and coaches with extensive experience, the San Luis Obispo Youth Symphony provides an excellent environment for young musicians to develop their skills through symphonic and chamber music training. The Youth Symphony is part of the San Luis Obispo Symphony's extensive Music Education program and it is the only opportunity between Santa Barbara and Monterey for school-age musicians to receive full orchestral training.

Families may also choose to pay a $100 by out instead of volunteering, or donate up to $100 in snacks for rehearsals or concerts.
